Great vid - I like you show the stuff that doesn't work as well as the stuff that works. Helps us out there. I reached out to the COPART store on AliExpress, they seem to be selling 450MT specific screen protector, and based on their screenshots it may look like it is a good fit but I'm confirming with them first (with the help of your video!) that it's the right size. When they come back I'll order some and will let you know if it fits.

A new dash/display is $730 but this is not a touchscreen so I'm not convinced it's needed. Get yourself a can of Plexus or similar and give the display a wipe occasionally.

Water based lube is best tyre lube.

Like woodworking, don't cut off too much, add beads in slight increments 😋 Watch out using WD-40, if it gets on the tyre tread it reduces grip. I have rubber plugs I can stab into my mountain bike tubeless tyres (luckily haven't used yet).

I get the mushroom inside patches outie and they work a treat, I do have those screwin repair screws as well but not used one as yet.

Hopefully they will put more with some updates.

How much taller is your new windscreen? I assume you are still looking over it rather than through it? Has it relieved buffering at your helmet lever? The new taller seat looks like the ticket for me also as I am 6'1"...

That crease in the seat would irritate me every time I walked up to the bike. If that happened in the first 500 miles, it’ll be interesting to see what’s dropped off after 5000 miles.

you do know that your local M/C shop sells bar risers don't you? most bar clamps are universal in design with only a few exceptions; all this shameless advertising for a Foreign owned company is just that, shameful; if you stop supporting your local dealer, don't complain when they close the doors and you have nowhere to go when you want your bike serviced or new tyres put on.

Great video, as always. I test ridden this bike yesterday and it was great. As a guy on the taller side (6'1"), I will also probably do these mods. My question is the following, I was watching the channel "R.N.G Performance", a channel of a mechanic that seems to be handling quite a few CF Moto bikes, and he said that the dust boot will always kick it on all CF Moto bikes. Have you heard anything like that? In the country I live, there are a ton of CF Motos zooming around, but I have never heard anything like that. Or any reliability issues for that that matter. We have a very reputable magazine here, Motomag, and in their long-term review (365 days of 100Km/day min, never in a garage, and constant abuse) of the CF Moto 650 nothing like that came up.

Ignore the bad comments. If you don’t know how important ABS is you won’t understand how to use it. It’s not a bad thing. When off roading turn off your ABS or by turning on off-road mode and it will be a whole new experience. Once you become competent at trail riding, riding on the roads in the rain becomes much safer as you’ll learn what it will feel like to lose the back and front end even with ABS ON and know how to correct it safely. FOCUS ON TRIAL RIDING, YOU WILL FALL, BUT YOU WILL LEARN
